1. Reminding of optical microscopes: nature of light

Resolution, diffraction of image forming system

2. Background of electronic microscopes and electromagnetic springs

3. Optics of electrons, nature of the electron radiation, production of electrons, electromagnetic lens, resolution of electrons

4. Structure of electronic microscopes

4.1. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) of electron gun, effect of kits, projectors, column of body structure, vacuum systems

4.2. Scanning electron microscope (SEM): structure of SEM, relationships of electronic beams with sample, Primary and secondary electrons, reflecting electrons

Practical Contents:

5. Use of electronic microscopes (SEM and TEM)

6. Production of biology materials for SEM and TEM: stabilization of dewatering, resins, molding, microtome, staining, shading, technology of critical point dryer

7. Analytical microscopes: use of X-ray and application of energy loss systems

8. Specific techniques in biological sciences, immunocytochemistry, cytochemistry, autoradiography, stereology and freezing etching
